Job Summary Join Red Chamber Entertainment as a Restaurant Waiter/Waitress, delivering excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a clean, welcoming dining environment. Responsibilities Greet and escort customers to their tables to ensure a welcoming experience Present menus and provide detailed information about portions, ingredients, and potential food allergies Prepare tables by setting up linens, flatware, and glasses for service readiness Offer menu recommendations to enhance customer dining choices Up-sell additional products appropriately to increase sales Take accurate food and drink orders using POS software and order slips Communicate order details clearly to Kitchen Staff for timely preparation Serve food and drink orders promptly and courteously Inspect dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation, reporting any issues Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area throughout service Deliver checks and collect bill payments efficiently Clear dirty plates, glasses, and flatware to the kitchen for cleaning Collaborate with bar and restaurant staff to review daily specials, menu changes, and reservation service needs Follow all relevant health department regulations to ensure safety and compliance Provide excellent customer service by attentively responding to guest needs Required competencies and certifications Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering systems (e.g., Revel POS or Toast POS) to accurately process orders Basic math skills to handle transactions and billing Strong organizational and multitasking skills to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment Active listening and effective communication skills to understand and respond to customer requests Team spirit to collaborate well with colleagues Preferred competencies and qualifications Positive learning attitude to adapt quickly to training and new tasks Good presentation skills to maintain a professional appearance …
