Design Engineer

About the company: Redot Engineers is a Singapore-based consultancy delivering civil, structural, and geotechnical design solutions. Founded in 2019 by PEs from top-tier international design firms, we’ve led major infrastructure projects across Asia-Pacific. Design Engineer We are looking for a Design Engineer to lead civil and structural design work, primarily for road and transport-related infrastructure projects. The role involves managing design, submissions,stakeholder coordination and construction support, while contributing to other engineering projects across Redot Engineers. Key Responsibilities: · Carry out civil and structural design, with a primary focus on commuter facility, road and transport-related infrastructure works. · Prepare design calculations, drawings, technical reports and submission documents. · Coordinate design matters with clients, authorities, main contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders. · Lead assigned projects from conceptual design, design development and submission through construction support till successful project completion and handing over. · Attend coordination meetings, technical discussions and site meetings. · Review design drawings, contractor submissions and site-related technical matters. · Resolve design and construction issues with practical and cost-effective solutions. · Support other civil, structural and geotechnical design projects undertaken by RedotEngineers. Requirements: · Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline. · Relevant experience in civil or structural design consultancy. · Previous design experience on LTA roadwork and infrastructure projects is required. · Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with agencies, main contractors, consultants and other stakeholders. · Able to independently manage projects from start to completion. · Familiar with relevant Singapore codes, authority requirements and design standards. · Proficient in AutoCAD and relevant engineering design software. · Strong technical, coordination and problem-solving skills. · Good written and spoken English.
