Physiotherapist Assistant / Therapy Aide

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physiotherapist Assistant at Rehab Alliance in Singapore. The Physiotherapist Assistant will provide patient care and rehabilitation services under the supervision of a licensed Physiotherapist. The role involves assisting with the implementation of physiotherapy treatment plans, supporting patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, and ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Support physiotherapists in delivering individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans. Assist patients with mobility training, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation activities. Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and therapy areas before and after sessions. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all patients. Assist with housekeeping and cleaning duties within the therapy area. Handle patient enquiries, answer phone calls, and accurately record and relay messages. Perform inventory checks and maintain adequate stock levels of equipment, consumables, and forms. Perform various massage therapy techniques according to patients' needs, including deep tissue massage, soft tissue massage, sports massage, and other therapeutic modalities. Conduct the clinic's Weight Management Programme by: Collaborating with physiotherapists to deliver safe and effective exercise regimens. Designing individualized workout programmes based on patients' goals and fitness levels. Providing dietary advice and meal planning guidance to support healthy lifestyle changes. Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting programmes as appropriate under supervision. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum GCE N-Level or O-Level qualifications. Candidates with experience or qualifications in related fields will have an added advantage. Passion for patient care and delivering excellent customer service. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates with relevant healthcare, fitness, or massage therapy experience will have an advantage. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply, as on-the-job training will be provided.
