About the Role We are looking for a Maritime Contracts Senior Analyst to join our Trading organization in Singapore. In this position, you will play a key role in managing and negotiating strategic commercial and maritime contracts that support our global operations. You will act as a vital link between commercial and legal teams, ensuring robust, compliant, and efficient agreements that align with corporate policies and business needs. Key Responsibilities Draft and negotiate sale and purchase agreements (spot, long-term), ensuring alignment with the commercial team and legal requirements. Prepare and negotiate maritime charterparty contracts (voyage, time charter, COAs), providing input on risk allocation and operational flexibility. Design, negotiate and maintain framework agreements for group companies, ensuring consistency and alignment across jurisdictions. Act as a trusted advisor to commercial teams , providing proactive legal and contractual guidance on new business initiatives and structures. Support and participate in the structuring, negotiation and review of letters of credit and other trade finance instruments, in coordination with treasury and banking counterparts. Draft and negotiate storage and logistics agreements , ensuring alignment with operational, regulatory and commercial requirements. Coordinate with corporate functions (Legal, Finance, Risk, Operations, Compliance) to ensure robust contract implementation and proper reconciliation of transactions in internal systems. Contribute to the identification and mitigation of contractual risks , including sanctions, regulatory, operational and counterparty risks. Engage with international counterparties and stakeholders, supporting negotiations and contractual discussions. Support the development and implementation of internal policies , templates and best practices to enhance efficiency and consistency. Perform contractual activities for China office, ensuring consistency in approach, alignment with regional hub operations, and adherence to global standards. Requirements: A University Degree in Law (Law + Business Administration is a plus). Experience in contract management and negotiation , ideally within the maritime sector. Strong knowledge of Maritime Law and commercial contracting. C1 level English or above. Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus. Experience in Chinese contractual trading activities, particularly in negotiation and related contractual matters, is highly valued. A proactive and results-oriented mindset, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
