Data & AI Governance Lead - Financial Services

About the role This role oversees data and AI governance across a leading regional financial services firm. Key responsibilities Build and maintain data and AI governance frameworks, policies, standards, and guidelines. Keep them current with regulatory requirements and business needs Support the department's communication strategy to raise data literacy and data management awareness Refine and embed data and AI governance practices to establish clear ownership and accountability Guide business units to meet their goals in a compliant, effective, and efficient manner through data and technology Design and implement monitoring approaches for data cataloguing, lineage, and usage Provide oversight to country offices and subsidiaries to ensure governance practices and standards stay aligned What we're looking Degree from a recognized institution. 8+ years total experience, including 3+ years in data or AI governance, data management, audit, or compliance within insurance or financial services Detail-oriented and analytical, with strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills Solid grasp of data management disciplines, including master/reference data management and data quality management Strong change management skills, ideally from organizational transformation program Experience operationalizing governance processes is a plus Experience in IT Service Management is a plus Familiarity with data architecture and current technology landscape (cloud, data warehousing, AI/ML) Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills Sherwin Yeo (R1980909) EA License: 22S1193
