A well-established regional bank with a strong footprint across Asia is looking to appoint an AVP / VP, Structured Trade Finance professional to join its Singapore team. This role offers the opportunity to originate, structure and execute bespoke trade finance and working capital financing solutions for a diverse portfolio of corporate and institutional clients. Working closely with Relationship Managers and regional stakeholders, you will play a key role in delivering tailored financing solutions and driving the bank's structured trade finance business across Asia. Key Responsibilities Structure and execute a broad range of structured trade finance and working capital financing transactions for corporate and institutional clients. Originate and manage financing solutions including borrowing base facilities, receivables finance, pre-export finance, inventory finance, supply chain finance and other structured trade products. Partner closely with Relationship Managers to identify business opportunities and develop tailored financing solutions that meet clients' funding requirements. Conduct transaction due diligence, prepare credit proposals and manage transactions through to execution. Liaise with internal stakeholders including Credit, Legal, Operations and Compliance to facilitate seamless transaction execution. Monitor portfolio performance and ensure compliance with internal policies, risk frameworks and regulatory requirements. Keep abreast of market developments and contribute to the continued growth of the bank's Structured Trade Finance franchise. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline. 5–10 years of relevant experience in Structured Trade Finance, Commodity Trade Finance or Transaction Banking. Strong understanding of structured trade finance, working capital and supply chain finance solutions. Proven experience in transaction structuring, credit analysis and end-to-end deal execution. Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is required, as the role involves regular communication with Mandarin-speaking clients, counterparties and stakeholders across the region.
