Job Summary The Construction Site Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and managing all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and Singapore statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee day-to-day site operations from project commencement to completion. Plan, coordinate, and monitor construction schedules to ensure timely project delivery. Supervise site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and workers. Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements. Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, and government authorities. Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and implement site safety measures. Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical or construction issues promptly. Monitor project costs, manpower allocation, materials, and equipment utilization. Coordinate procurement and delivery of construction materials. Review and approve subcontractor work progress and quality. Attend project meetings and provide updates to management and stakeholders. Ensure proper documentation, site records, inspection reports, and project correspondence are maintained. Liaise with relevant authorities for inspections, permits, and approvals. Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation measures. Ensure project quality standards and client requirements are consistently achieved. Job Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction project/site management. Experience managing commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects. Good knowledge of Singapore Building Control Act, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Regulations, and BCA requirements. Strong leadership, planning, and project management skills. Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software. Ability to work independently under pressure and meet project deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of BCA regulations and construction standards. WSH-related certifications (e.g., Safety Supervisor or relevant safety qualifications). Experience in managing multiple subcontractors and large project teams. Valid Class 3 Driving Licence (preferred).
