About this role

Key Responsibilities: 1. Korean Client & Market Support Build and maintain strong relationships with Korean ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients, business owners, and family offices. Communicate fluently in both Korean and English to address client needs, provide updates, and manage inquiries. Prepare client-facing materials such as proposals, meeting summaries, pitch decks, and reports in Korean to ensure clarity and cultural relevance. Conduct research on the Korean market, including investment trends, client preferences, and cross-border opportunities. Manage follow-up actions post-client meetings and support ongoing communications. 2. Wealth Management Products Develop materials for investment products such as structured notes, unit trusts, bonds, funds, cash management solutions, and portfolio products. Source product information from banks, external asset management (EAM) platforms, fund distributors, and licensed partners. Create product comparison tables, investment summaries, and client-friendly explanations tailored to the needs of Korean clients. Stay updated on market developments and share relevant product ideas with the team. 3. Structuring & Advisory Support Assist in preparing proposals for company restructuring, holding companies, trusts, Variable Capital Company (VCC) fund structures, family office solutions, and cross-border investment migration strategies. Conduct internal research on regulatory considerations, tax implications, banking requirements, and structuring options specific to Korean clients. Collaborate with senior team members to simplify complex structures into clear presentations for clients. Coordinate with external parties such as lawyers, tax advisors, trustees, corporate service providers, and fund managers when required. 4. Proposals & Presentations Draft and refine client proposals, pitch decks, investment teasers, and business summaries. Organize client information and research into professional presentation formats. Provide support for business development initiatives related to fund structuring and corporate advisory projects. Essential Requirements: Proficiency in spoken and written Korean at a native or business level to effectively serve Korean-speaking clients. Strong command of English for internal communication and documentation purposes. Approximately 2 to 4 years of experience in priority banking, wealth banking support, private banking support, securities brokerage operations, investment advisory support, or EAM operations. Solid understanding of wealth management products such as structured notes, unit trusts, bonds, funds, or insurance solutions. CMFAS relevant certifications. Excellent writing skills with strong attention to detail for handling confidential client information. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working with Korean UHNW clients or familiarity with the needs of Korean business owners or family offices. Knowledge of Singapore financial structures such as trusts, VCCs (Variable Capital Companies), family offices, or holding companies. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Growth in assets under management (AUM) sourced from or managed for Korean clients. Revenue contribution from mandates involving Korean clients. Quality and accuracy of client proposals, pitch decks, and product materials delivered in both languages. Responsiveness to client communications and timely follow-ups for Korean stakeholders. Effective collaboration across teams such as Sales and the Korea Desk. Language Requirement: This role specifically supports the servicing of Korean-speaking UHNW clients who require communication in their native language for clarity on complex financial matters. Additionally: Many client-facing materials must be prepared in Korean to align with cultural nuances and ensure accurate understanding by stakeholders unfamiliar with English financial terminology. The role involves liaising with Korean-speaking partners within the market ecosystem (e.g., local banks or legal advisors), necessitating fluency in Korean for effective collaboration. The requirement for a proficient Korean speaker is essential to meet the unique linguistic needs of this stakeholder group while ensuring compliance with Singapore's fair employment practices under TAFEP guidelines.
