Part-Time Pastry

Job Description · Assist with basic pastry preparation. · Support cooking and plating under guidance from pastry chef, following recipes and instructions. · Prepare and maintain mise-en-place to ensure readiness before and during service. · Store and label ingredients properly; follow FIFO and proper temperature controls. · Keep workstations, equipment, and utensils clean, sanitized, and organized at all times. · Assist in receiving, checking, and storing deliveries of ingredients and supplies. · Follow NEA/SFA food hygiene and workplace safety guidelines. · Help with waste management by minimizing wastage and sorting disposables correctly. · Participate in scheduled cleaning routines and deep cleaning tasks. · Communicate effectively with kitchen team members to support smooth service flow.
