Data Specialist (Python, Hadoop)

Job Summary Seeking a Junior data/analytics professional responsible for analyzing banking data using SQL and Python, supporting data architecture and reporting, and collaborating with users to gather requirements and resolve issues. Mandatory Skill-set Must have strong knowledge of SQL and Python; Must have Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Good analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently with users for requirements gathering and issue investigation; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Basic understanding of banking products. Desired Skill-set Knowledge of data architecture concepts including data warehouse and big data technologies; Familiarity with Hadoop and discovery/BI tools such as Qlik Sense and Hue, plus exposure to AI tools; Responsibilities Analyze and manage data using SQL and Python to support business needs; Work with users to gather requirements and understand data/reporting needs; Investigate and resolve data or system-related issues; Prepare reports, analysis, and presentations using Microsoft Office tools; Support data architecture and data warehouse environments; Utilize big data, BI, or AI tools to enhance data discovery and insights.
