Software Engineer (React/Java)

Location: One-North (Hybrid) Job Type: Contract (Renewable basis) Key Responsibilities Maintain and enhance enterprise Java applications, including change requests, bug fixes, performance optimisation, and system stability improvements. Provide production support, incident management, and root cause analysis (RCA). Conduct impact assessments for system changes and ensure minimal disruption to live environments. Implement security fixes from code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing. Support system monitoring, backups, disaster recovery, and contribute to modernisation initiatives. Requirements Degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or equivalent experience. Min. 4 years of experience supporting and maintaining enterprise systems. Strong troubleshooting skills and experience working in production environments. Hands-on experience with React, Java (preferably Java 8), Spring Framework, and Oracle WebLogic. Experience with Oracle/Sybase databases and legacy Java web technologies (JSP, JSTL, Struts/JSF, jQuery). Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, version control (Git/SVN), and authentication integrations (LDAP/AD/SiteMinder).
