Database Administrator (Dba)

We are looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize our organization's databases. You will be responsible for ensuring database availability, security, performance, and reliability while supporting application teams and business operations. Working Hours: Mon-Fri Working Location: Central Salary Package: Up to $7500 (basic) + AWS +VB Key Responsibilities Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade database management systems. Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and configurations. Perform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning and testing. Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with organizational policies. Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime. Manage user accounts, permissions, and database access controls. Support database migration, upgrades, and system integration projects. Work closely with developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to support application requirements. Develop and maintain database documentation, operational procedures, and best practices. Monitor database health, capacity planning, and storage utilization. Requirements At least 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role. Experience administering one or more database platforms such as Oracle, or MongoDB . Strong understanding of SQL, database design principles, and performance tuning. Experience with backup and recovery strategies, replication, and high availability solutions. Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows server environments. Knowledge of database monitoring and administration tools. Nice to Have Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL). Knowledge of database automation, scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python), or DevOps practices. Experience with database security, encryption, and compliance standards.
