Game UI/UX Designer

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (10:00am – 7:00pm) Working Location: Tanjong Pagar Salary Package: Up to $5,000 + AWS + Variable Bonus Employment Type: Permanent We are looking for a creative Game UI/UX Designer who is passionate about designing intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling game experiences. Beyond creating beautiful interfaces, you will focus on how players interact with game systems, ensuring seamless navigation, immersive gameplay, and an enjoyable user experience across every touchpoint. You will work closely with game designers, artists, and developers to transform gameplay concepts into polished, player-centric interfaces using modern design tools such as Figma. Responsibilities Design intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces for game menus, HUDs, inventories, onboarding flows, and in-game systems. Collaborate with game designers, artists, and developers to translate gameplay mechanics and features into seamless player experiences. Create user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma. Develop responsive layouts and interaction patterns that enhance usability while maintaining visual consistency across the game. Design and maintain reusable UI components, style guides, and design systems to support scalable development. Conduct UX research, usability reviews, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improving player experience. Rapidly iterate on designs based on playtesting feedback, user behaviour, and stakeholder input. Produce detailed design specifications, interaction documentation, and assets to facilitate smooth implementation by developers. Work closely with developers throughout implementation to ensure designs are accurately translated into the final product. Present design concepts and rationale clearly to cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Stay updated on gaming trends, UI/UX best practices, accessibility standards, and emerging design tools. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Design, Interactive Media, Computer Science, Game Design, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience in UI/UX, Product Design, or Game UI Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing game interfaces or interactive digital products. Advanced proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Design Systems, and interactive prototyping. Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, player psychology, information architecture, interaction design, and accessibility.
