About this role

Our client is seeking passionate and service-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join the opening team of a new luxury hotel in Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pre-opening journey and help create exceptional guest experiences from day one. As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering exceptional service while ensuring the smooth operation of front desk activities. Job Responsibilities: Welcome guests and provide a professional, friendly and efficient check-in and check-out experience. Handle guest enquiries, requests and feedback promptly while ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction. Verify reservation details, room assignments, rates and payment information accurately. Process payments and maintain accurate guest records and billing information in the Property Management System (PMS). Provide information on hotel facilities, services and local attractions to enhance the guest experience. Coordinate guest requests with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Manage guest communications through phone calls, emails and other channels. Promote hotel facilities, services and room upgrades where appropriate. Adhere to hotel policies, operational procedures, cash handling requirements and safety standards. Support daily front office operations and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment. Job Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, front office or hospitality-related roles preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Good problem-solving and organisational abilities. Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) will be an advantage. Proficient in spoken and written English; additional language skills are a plus.
