Quantity Surveyor

Position : Quantity Surveyor Location : Kaki Bukit Working hours : Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $4500 Basic + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leave Duration : Permanent Industry : Building & Construction Note: Career Progression opportunity to Senior Quantity Surveyo r Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and cost estimates during the tender stage. Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction phase to ensure projects remain within budget. Administer contracts and manage variations, claims, and change orders in accordance with contractual requirements. Prepare periodic financial reports and provide cost analysis to Project Managers and Management. Prepare valuations and interim payment certificates for contractors and clients. Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve cost-related issues. Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and contract files. Conduct site inspections to verify work progress and quality against contractual specifications. Assist in the preparation of final accounts and project close-out documentation. Perform any other duties assigned by the Contracts Manager. Requirements: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related construction discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying or Contracts Management within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of contract administration, including familiarity with the Singapore Standard Form of Contract or similar. Proficient in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis.
