Senior Embedded Functional Test Engineer (Jurong West)

Senior Embedded Functional Test Engineer Responsibilities · Lead embedded firmware functional testing activities, including test strategy, planning, execution, and reporting across multiple projects. · Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks based on product requirements and engineering standards. · Analyze test results, debug failures, manage defect reporting, and perform regression testing to ensure product quality. · Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to review requirements, improve test coverage, and support continuous integration initiatives. · Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and quality metrics. Requirements · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline. · 5+ years of embedded software or firmware testing experience, including leading test activities for complex projects. · Strong knowledge of test automation, embedded systems, Agile development, and scripting with Python. · Experience developing test plans, test cases, debugging firmware issues, and using defect tracking tools. · Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with experience working in cross-functional engineering teams.
