Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Us Fabless Ic Design)

Our client is a leading startup in the semiconductor field and a leader in designing ultra low-power microprocessors. Opportunity to join a dynamic embedded software team developing SDKs and software platforms for next-generation microcontroller and SoC products. You will work closely with hardware, architecture, validation, and customer-facing teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that enable innovative embedded applications. Senior Embedded Software Engineer (HAL, ARM-Cortex M) Responsibilities: · Lead the development and maintenance of embedded software components, including HAL,BSP, device drivers, and SDK features for MCU platforms. · Design and implement software examples, test frameworks, and validation tools to improve software quality and usability. · Support pre-silicon FPGA verification and post-silicon hardware bring-up, debugging, and system validation activities. · Develop and maintain RTOS support, including FreeRTOS-based solutions, across multiple MCU families. · Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and customers to troubleshoot complex hardware-software integration challenges. Requirements: · Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with 4–6 years of embedded software developmentexperience. · Strong hands-on programming experience in Embedded C on Arm Cortex-M microcontrollers, with knowledge of HAL, BSP, and device driver development. · Experience with RTOS environments (preferably FreeRTOS), MCU peripherals (SPI, I2C, UART),and ARM development tools such as Keil, IAR, Eclipse, or Ozone. · Practical experience in hardware bring-up and debugging using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. · Familiarity with Git, Python scripting, software testing methodologies, and the ability to solve complex system-level hardware and software issues.
