Job Summary The Assistant Cook supports meal preparation and cooking under the Head Cook or Chef while maintaining a clean, organized kitchen that meets food safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals following instructions from the Head Cook or Chef to meet quality and safety standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen to comply with food safety regulations Apply food hygiene practices consistently during food preparation and cooking Collaborate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations Stand for extended periods and safely lift moderate weights to support kitchen activities Required competencies and certifications Basic knowledge of food preparation and hygiene practices Preferred competencies and qualifications Minimum 4 years of experience working in a kitchen or food service environment
