Planning Manager

Planning Manager Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and execute production plans that align with customer demand, operational capacity, and business priorities. Lead and manage a team of planners to review demand forecasts, backlog, and production requirements to optimize production output and meet customer delivery schedules. Collaborate closely with Procurement, Suppliers, and Warehouse teams to manage lead times, material shortages, and delivery risks. Ensure timely material availability to support production schedules and fulfil customer requirements. Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Procurement, and Customer Operations teams to ensure planning alignment and execution readiness. Ensure production plans are realistic, achievable, and aligned with shop floor capacity and operational constraints. Monitor order execution and delivery performance, ensuring accurate planning and customer commitment dates. Act as the key point of contact for planning-related issues, change management, and cross-functional decision-making. Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, data accuracy, and system utilization to enhance forecast accuracy, schedule stability, and supply reliability. Build and develop a high-performing planning team through coaching, performance management, and succession planning. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the planning function. Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including capacity constraints, material shortages, and delivery delays. Requirements Min Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline. Min 4 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Production Planning, or Materials Planning within a manufacturing environment. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
