QC Inspector (Welding)

Key Responsibilities: Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Perform visual and dimensional inspections for precision/semiconductor components. Use measuring tools such as Mitutoyo Quick Vision, calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Record inspection results and maintain proper documentation. Report and follow up on defects and quality issues. Work with Production & QA teams on root cause analysis and corrective actions. Support audits and customer inspections. Identify recurring issues and guide junior QC staff when required. Requirements: Must possess relevant recognized certifications, AWS CWI or CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent. Min 2 years’ experience in relevant job scope. Able to read and understand technical drawings, P&ID, isometrics, pipe-support drawings, piping fabrication dimensions, flange orientations, installations. Experience with welding inspection techniques used in construction of FSO/ FPSO/ SAW/ SMAW/ GTAW/ GMAW/ FCAW. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, etc). Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate with people of all level.
