About this role
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing and delivering engineering projects within our organisation. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for professional development and growth. What you'll be doing Manage the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards Assist in quotation preparation, cost estimation and budget for tender projects. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams in reviewing mechanical drawing including verification of details & project requirements Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to effectively coordinate project activities to ensure timely completion. Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project meets contract requirements, specifications and budget. Attend meeting with clients and stakeholders on project progression. Handling progressive claim & final claim for variation order. Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and quality assurance teams to ensure the timely delivery of project materials and compliance with specifications Liaise with client, sub-contractor and inspectors to discuss technical issues when required Prepare project reports, presentations, and documentation to keep clients and stakeholders informed and support decision-making. What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline Minimum 5 years of experience in a project engineering role, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering services industry Proficient in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Familiarity with engineering design, production, and quality assurance processes Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead cross-functional projects Proficient in the use of relevant engineering software and tools Other Information: Work location: Tuas / Changi AirPort Company transport for Tuas Office Pick Up at Blk 978 Jurong West St 91, Gul Circle MRT and Chua Chu Kang MRT. 5 days work week Opportunities for overseas deployment
