About this role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join ShinMaywa (Asia) Pte Ltd on a full-time basis at Changi Airport. This role play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) . This role involves performing routine preventative maintenance, executing immediate corrective repairs, and providing critical on-site technical support to ensure the smooth operations of PBB. Responsibilities: Execute scheduled preventative maintenance on Passenger Boarding Bridges to ensure optimal performance and prevent unexpected breakdowns. Troubleshooting any mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system faults and identify root causes to implement effective solution to minimize equipment downtime. Conduct regular inspection on structural components, electronic component and mechanism for wear, damage, or malfunction. Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and equipment performance metric including all faulty arise for future investigations purpose. Strict adherence to Airside safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe working environment whilst carrying out maintenance tasks Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls and perform corrective actions Collaborate with relevant stakeholders for maintenance schedules to minimise operational disruptions Monitor inventory levels for essential spare parts and assist in requesting replenishments as necessary to ensure necessary components are readily available for repairs and maintenance. Assist in training junior maintenance staff and sharing technical knowledge across the team. Requirements: Min NITEC in Engineering / Electrical / Mechanical / Automotive / Air-Conditioning or any other related fields Min 2 years relevant working experience as a Maintenance Technician in an engineering or industrial environment Strong technical knowledge of machinery, equipment operation and mechanical systems Familiarity with preventive maintenance techniques and best practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks Knowledge of hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems or specialised industrial equipment is a plus Physically fit and capable of working in diverse environmental conditions, including at heights and in inclement weather. Willingness to work in a shift pattern, including weekends and public holidays, as required Other Information: Work Location: Changi Airport Working hours: 5 days or Shift Work Supervisor roles available for candidates with experience
