Production Executive (Food Manufacturing) Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and organised Production Executive to support our Factory Manager in the daily food production operations, quality assurance checks, inventory control, warehouse coordination, and compliance activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth production flow, consistent product quality, accurate records, and adherence to food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Production & QA Operations Assist the Factory Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating daily production activities to meet customer orders and delivery deadlines. Monitor production progress and resolve operational issues to ensure smooth workflow. Allocate manpower, raw materials, and equipment to maintain consistent production output. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely material availability and production readiness. Conduct routine in-process quality checks on raw materials, work-in-progress, finished products, packing, labelling, and storage conditions. Identify quality or hygiene issues promptly, support corrective actions, and escalate non-conformities to management where required. Inventory & Warehouse Management Maintain accurate inventory records for all incoming and outgoing materials using inventory management systems. Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and cycle counts. Investigate inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, label materials, and ensure proper storage. Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations. Organize warehouse and storage areas to maximize efficiency, cleanliness, and safety. Supply Chain Coordination Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for material purchases and delivery schedules. Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requests when necessary. Ensure timely replenishment of raw materials to support uninterrupted production. Quality Assurance, Food Safety & Compliance Support the implementation and enforcement of quality control procedures. Carry out QA checks including product appearance, packaging integrity, labelling accuracy, hygiene standards, temperature records, and expiry date control. Assist with food safety documentation, traceability records, non-conformance reports, corrective action follow-up, and audit preparation. Ensure finished products comply with company quality standards and customer requirements. Promote workplace safety by enforcing health and safety procedures. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including ISO, SFA, Halal, BizSafe, and other relevant certifications and audits. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate production, inventory, and warehouse records. Prepare production reports, inventory reports, damaged goods reports, and stock reconciliation reports. Maintain QA and compliance documentation required for ISO, SFA, Halal, BizSafe, HACCP, GMP, and other quality management systems. Assist during internal and external audits. Equipment & Maintenance Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules for production machinery and equipment. Report machine breakdowns promptly and liaise with maintenance personnel to minimize downtime. Team Leadership Assist in supervising production and warehouse staff. Support staff training, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives. Foster a positive, disciplined, and safety-conscious working environment. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Manufacturing, Production, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field. Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Experience in inventory management and warehouse operations. Experience in quality assurance, quality control, food safety, or production documentation will be an advantage. Good understanding of production planning and scheduling. Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems. Knowledge of ISO, SFA, Halal, BizSafe, GMP, HACCP, or other quality management systems will be an advantage. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
