About this role

Senior Staff Nurse To lead a team of healthcare workers in the provision of patient care in the nursing home. You will also assist the nurse Director of Nursing in operation and administrative issues and audit of the home by MSF. Job Description Oversee nursing standards and ensure quality and safe delivery of resident care in compliance with MOH and internal guidelines. Lead and supervise all staff and ensure operation effectiveness of the Nursing Home Maintain proper documentation and records of all essential tasks. Ensure compliance with nursing and work procedures Ensure adherence to infection control, medication management, and safety standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits. Assist in monitoring residents' rehabilitation program and planned activities. Assist in sending residents to hospital for checkup, attend to new admissions and discharge, if any Manage inventory level (medication, supplies, consumable, etc.) to ensure adequate stock level at all time and inventory have not expired Ensure dispensary, medicine cupboard and fridge are tidy, and medication are still within validity dates Ensure facilities and equipment are well maintained Ensure compliance to workplace hygiene and safety Conduct training to upgrade the nursing/healthcare team's skills and knowledge Conduct staff orientations and induction of new staff Any other duties as assigned Qualification Requirements Diploma or Degree in Nursing. Preferably with Advance Diploma in Geriatric Nursing Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board Possess a valid BCLS + AED certification. Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience Experience in ILTC Has leadership and people management abilities Working Days/ Hours · Working Days: 5 Days Work Week · Working Hours: 3 shifts (AM Shift 7am to 3 pm /PM Shift 1pm to 9pm / · and Night Shift 9pm to 7 am) Benefits Comprehensive Medical & Leave Benefit Supportive and conducive work environment Training & Development opportunities Vegetarian meals provided
