Job Responsibilities User Insight Mining: Conduct qualitative research including in-depth interviews and focus groups to identify latent user demands and behavioral motivations. Cross-validate insights with questionnaire data and build comprehensive user decision models. Research Program Delivery: Design and execute full-cycle user research plans, including interview outline drafting and user recruitment strategy formulation. Deliver core outputs such as interview transcript analysis and demand priority ranking. Data Analysis: Process questionnaire datasets, identify abnormal user behaviors requiring deep-dive investigation, and validate research conclusions via statistical analysis. Cross-functional Insight Commercialization: Translate research findings into actionable product optimization proposals, participate in demand review and solution iteration meetings, and share internal deliverables including updated user personas and typical user journey storylines with product & operation teams. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology or related disciplines preferred. Qualitative research proficiency: Master end-to-end execution of in-depth interviews and contextual observation (academic coursework samples or internship case portfolios required for review). Cross-team communication: Capable of translating academic research insights into practical, implementable recommendations for product and operation teams. Research execution track record: Hands-on experience conducting at least 10 one-on-one in-depth user interviews (academic or commercial projects accepted). Strong insight capability: Able to capture unspoken underlying needs from user feedback (e.g., translate vague feedback “complicated functions” into concrete demand “hierarchical information display”). Basic quantitative analytics: Solid statistics foundation, proficient in Excel for data cleaning and basic statistical analysis; Python or R scripting skills are a major plus. Preferred Qualifications Project experience: Prior user research projects for consumer apps (user growth / UX optimization) Technical skill: Proficient in Python or R for statistical data analysis Practical experience: Completed 10+ one-on-one in-depth user interviews independently Soft skill: Proven track record of translating research insights into executable product & operation solutions
