Patient Care Assistant (Nuclear Medicine)

1. To provide basic nursing and patient care such as assisting in the preparation of patients undergoing Nuclear Medicine (NM) 2. To adhere to strict infection control measures and exercise standard precaution and good hand hygiene 3. To assist the nurse/doctor/NMT in preparing patient for IV cannulation and venipuncture procedures. 4. To assist in maintaining the general cleanliness and upkeep of the assigned work area within the imaging facility 5. To assist the Nuclear Medicine Technologist by preparing the room before and after the Nuclear Medicine procedure and also act as a chaperon. Job Requirements: Fresh Higher Nitec / Nitec / GCE N / O / A Level / Equivalent and ITE Skills Certificate Health Care (Inpatient) or WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support Able to work on 3 rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays - 5 days work week: Training will be provided
