ABOUT THE PROGRAMME About the programme: Home Monitoring and Eldercare (HoME+) is a monitoring system using sensors placed around the home. When unusual patterns are detected (inactive, fall, etc.) or when the user activates the panic button, the Red Cross' call centre is notified immediately. Depending on the situation, community responders or the SCDF (for emergencies) will be dispatched to provide assistance. JOB PURPOSE The Executive, HoME+ (Engagement) is responsible for providing efficient administrative functions and operational support to the Home Monitoring and Eldercare (HoME+) service/program under the Community Engagement Division of the Singapore Red Cross. This role primarily focuses on overseeing all volunteer management, training and partnership development. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Volunteer Management ● Oversee and manage a diverse pool of volunteers and volunteer leaders across multiple aspects of the programme. ● Provide strategic direction for volunteer programmes, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with organisational and programme objectives. ● Drive initiatives to enhance volunteer satisfaction, engagement, and retention. ● Design and implement regular engagement strategies (e.g. newsletters, surveys, focus groups) to maintain strong volunteer communication and feedback channels. ● Handling of feedback related to volunteers. Training ● Plan, coordinate, and manage training programmes for volunteers. ● Review and continuously improve training content and delivery to ensure relevance and effectiveness. ● Develop and maintain structured training schedules to support operational needs.
