Chinese Language Teacher (Secondary – Cambridge Curriculum)

🎯 Key Responsibilities: Teach Chinese Language to Secondary students (Cambridge IGCSE / Lower Secondary levels) Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with Cambridge curriculum standards Develop lesson materials, assessments, and learning resources Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support Support students in developing reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Mandarin Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school events 🎓 Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Language, Education, or related field Teaching qualification (e.g. PGDE / equivalent preferred) Experience teaching Chinese at Secondary level (Cambridge curriculum experience is an advantage) Strong classroom management and communication skills Passion for teaching and developing bilingual learners Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners ⭐ Preferred Attributes: Familiarity with Cambridge IGCSE Chinese / Foreign Language Chinese syllabus Experience in international or bilingual school environment Strong ICT skills for teaching and learning integration
