Finance & Corporate Services Lead

SL Grease is a specialist in greasy waste management and an industry leader within Singapore. We are entering a new phase of growth and looking for a capable and dependable person to lead our finance function and support business operations. You will be expected to own your work, stay on top of what needs to be done and ensure that critical matters are followed through properly and promptly. Your primary responsibility will be driving the company’s day-to-day finance operations. You will manage invoicing and collections, monitor payments, and handle other finance-related matters. You will maintain clear and accurate financial information at all times, and support management with regular reporting as needed. In addition, you will also support business operations, ensuring fidelity of back-office processes that enable the smooth running of the business. Such responsibilities include employee onboarding and offboarding, monitoring training and work-pass renewals, regulatory permits, and maintaining operating procedures and business continuity. For an independent and driven person, this role offers high potential for growth and progression. What You Will Own Finance Operations Includes: • Taking ownership of the company’s day-to-day invoicing and billing process • Ensuring completed work is invoiced promptly, accurately and with the correct supporting documentation • Monitoring customer payments and outstanding invoices, facilitating consistent and professional follow-up on due accounts • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date company financial records, including basic bookkeeping and reconciliations • Preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports for management • Identifying and escalating discrepancies, delays and unusual items • Improving financial workflows, reporting and internal controls as the company develops Corporate Services Administration Includes: • Maintaining accurate employee records • Coordinating employee onboarding and offboarding, work pass administration, training and documentation • Preparing routine employee correspondence and internal documents • Maintaining database of standard operating workflows and business processes • Monitoring role backup and cross-training for purposes of business continuity • Supporting the introduction of better systems and more efficient ways of working Who We Are Looking For You are likely to enjoy this role if you: • Are excited working in a growing organization • Work independently, prioritize well, and always follow through • Enjoy working with a young and collegial team • Own the quality and outcomes of your work • Are detail-oriented and meticulous • Love learning and can step beyond a fixed job description when the business requires it • Want your responsibilities and career to grow together with the company • Required experience:  Finance administration or other business support operations  Confidence working with numbers and detailed documents  Experience with QuickBooks and AI would be an advantage Qualifications are useful, but your attitude and approach to work matter more.
