Job Summary Join SMARTLAB as a Secondary and/or Junior College Physics and Mathematics Teacher to inspire students through engaging lessons and practical experiments, fostering academic excellence and personal growth. Responsibilities Plan and deliver effective, engaging lessons for Secondary and/or Junior College Physics and Mathematics to enhance student understanding and performance Conduct Physics laboratory experiments and practical sessions aligned with curriculum requirements to provide hands-on learning experiences Prepare, administer, and mark worksheets, assignments, tests, and examination papers to assess and support student progress Monitor student learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback to guide academic improvement Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high teaching standards Foster a positive, supportive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages student engagement and respect Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching quality and student outcomes Preferred competencies and qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Physics, Mathematics, Education, or a related discipline Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Secondary and/or Junior College Physics and/or Mathematics Strong subject knowledge with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly Experience conducting Physics laboratory practical lessons is an advantage Familiarity with the Singapore Secondary and/or Junior College curriculum is preferred
