Duty Manager

Job Summary Duty Manager within the Operations department. The role carries full accountability for ground-level shift execution, driver management, operational compliance, and exception response during assigned shifts. Responsibilities Plan and execute all shift operations including deploying drivers, assigning vehicles, preparing routes, and conducting pre-departure briefings to ensure smooth logistics flow Enforce the Vehicle Pre-Trip Inspection Protocol (OPS-02) by verifying every vehicle has a completed and signed inspection record before departure Monitor all active deliveries in real time and initiate immediate driver status checks with documented responses for any delivery delayed beyond 15 minutes Classify operational exceptions as P1, P2, or P3 according to the Company’s Unified Escalation Protocol and escalate to the Head of Operations Centre (HOC) within the specified SLA (P1: 30 minutes, P2: 2 hours, P3: 4 hours) Complete and submit the Daily Shift Performance Summary to the HOC by 2300hrs or within 30 minutes of shift end, whichever is earlier Preferred competencies and qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience managing a fleet of 30 to 80 drivers Valid Class 3 or Class 4 driving license or forklift license is advantageous but not mandatory Goal-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills to engage with all organizational levels Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Detail-oriented, mature, positive, and capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team Other Information Benefits: Medical and dental benefits Opportunities for career progression Incentive programs
