About this role

Job Summary The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction activities on site, ensuring works are carried out safely, on schedule, within budget, and incompliance with contract specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. The role provides technical leadership to site teams and supports project management in delivering successful construction projects. Key Responsibilities Site & Construction Management Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily site operations and construction activities Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to meet schedules Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site supervisors Resolve technical and construction issues on site Technical & Engineering Duties Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications Prepare and review method statements, work sequences, and technical submissions Conduct site measurements, setting out, and verification of works Manage inspections, testing, and approvals with consultants and authorities Quality, Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with BCA regulations, contract requirements, and quality standards Implement and maintain ISO 9001 Quality Management System procedures on site Enforce Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements and safe work practices Participate in safety audits, site inspections, and toolbox meetings To be register as technical personnel as part of Company's Contractors Registration System (CRS) requirement. (If any) Documentation & Reporting Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports Maintain accurate site records, drawings, and documentation Support preparation of as-built drawings and handover documents Assist in claims, variations, and progress measurements Leadership & Coordination Lead and mentor Assistant Site Engineers and site staff Liaise with project managers, consultants, clients, and authorities Chair or participate in site coordination meetings Promote teamwork, accountability, and site discipline Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, or related discipline Professional Engineering certification is an advantage Experience Minimum 1-5 years of relevant construction site experience Proven experience managing complex site works and subcontractors Experience with Singapore construction projects preferred Skills & Competencies Strong technical and problem-solving skills Good leadership and people management abilities Strong communication and coordination skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation systems
