The temporary staff member will work closely with the Team and key stakeholders to implement, monitor, and evaluate sport programmes and initiatives designed to enhance the lives of underprivileged and at-risk children and youth in our community, in line with SportCares/SportSG vision and mission to change lives through sport. Job Responsibilities: • Support the implementation, recruitment, monitoring, and evaluation of sport programmes such as Saturday Night Lights (SNL) and SportCares HEARTS Football League, and initiatives designed to impact underprivileged and at-risk youth, including facilitating their participation in development programmes, volunteering activities, and competitions. • Assist in coach recruitment and assessment, programme quality assurance, and develop indicators and reporting measures to demonstrate programme effectiveness and outcomes. • Oversee the comprehensive design, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of programme categories while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and strong partnership relationships. • Manage procurement activities within approved budgets and timelines, including supplier evaluation, vendor relationship management, and ensuring compliance with government procurement guidelines. • Assist in managing the Community Futsal Programme (CFP) database, facilitating participant opportunities in development programmes and competitions, and collaborating with coaches to coordinate and execute events, workshops, and competitions. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following: • Some experience in organising and implementing programmes or outreach initiatives for vulnerable children, youth, and families (not necessarily sports-related). • Some experience in programme design, monitoring, and evaluation. • Familiarity with Singapore's sporting ecosystem and social service landscape. • Prior experience managing a variety of programmes and working within the social service sector would be an advantage. • A genuine interest in youth development, sports, or the social service sector is a plus. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across diverse backgrounds. • Organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team. • Empathetic, with a passion for sports and a commitment to making a positive impact.
