Job Summary You will design, lead, and evaluate diverse programmes that enhance the well-being and engagement of nursing home residents. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to integrate activities into holistic care plans, driving positive psychosocial outcomes. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement diverse programmes and activities (recreational, social, cognitive, physical, cultural, spiritual, educational) tailored to residents’ interests, cognitive levels, and physical abilities Conduct needs assessments and collect feedback from residents, families, and staff to continuously improve programme relevance and impact Develop detailed activity plans with clear objectives, required materials, and safety protocols to ensure effective delivery Lead and facilitate daily, weekly, and special group and individual programmes, adapting activities to meet individual resident needs inclusively and safely Provide encouragement and active participation to foster resident engagement and motivation during activities Coordinate logistics including setup, material preparation, and equipment management to ensure smooth programme execution Build strong, positive relationships with residents by understanding their preferences, life histories, and cultural backgrounds to enhance engagement Advocate for residents’ psychosocial well-being within the nursing home environment Collaborate closely with nursing, therapy, medical, and social work teams to integrate programmes into residents’ overall care plans Work alongside other Programme Executives/Assistants, volunteers, and external partners to maximize programme effectiveness Communicate regularly with families regarding resident participation and programme updates to maintain transparency and support Maintain accurat…
