About this role

Job Description: We are looking for an IT Manager (AI & Digital Transformation) to drive the discovery, prioritisation, and delivery governance of AI initiatives across the business. This individual contributor role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams—translating business objectives into scalable, secure, and compliant AI solutions. You will run the AI demand intake and pipeline, support business case development, define outcomes and adoption plans, and coordinate end-to-end implementation with delivery teams and partners (without direct line management). The ideal candidate brings strong stakeholder management, structured delivery governance, and hands-on exposure to AI and automation platforms to accelerate value realisation. Key Responsibilities: IT Leadership & Strategy Partner with business leaders to shape the digital and AI roadmap by running demand intake, clarifying needs, supporting prioritisation, and tracking value aligned to strategic outcomes. Coordinate governance for AI initiatives from concept to production (scope, budget, risk, security, and compliance), including RAID tracking, decision logs, and regular stakeholder cadence (e.g., working groups/steerco) to keep delivery on track. Stakeholder Engagement Facilitate AI use-case discovery workshops; translate business problems into clear requirements, success metrics, acceptance criteria, and implementation-ready user stories. Drive stakeholder communications, change management, and adoption for AI solutions (comms plan, training, playbooks, operating procedures), including post-go-live hypercare and continuous improvement feedback loops. Project Management Coordinate delivery of AI and automation initiatives across the lifecycle (ideation, feasibility, pilot, production rollout), managing plans, dependencies, vendor engagements, release readiness, and delivery risks across squads/teams. Work with architects and engineers to integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP/SAP, data platforms, workflow systems) and manage business process impacts, controls, and readiness. AI & Low-Code Implementation Partner with architects and delivery teams to design and implement AI solutions (including AI agents and low-code accelerators) with clear architecture, data readiness, testing, MLOps/operations considerations, and measurable outcomes (e.g., Copilot Agents, Dataiku, OutSystems Workbench, Google Agentspace,). Define and track solution KPIs (quality, cycle time, cost, user adoption) and coordinate validation (UAT, model evaluation where applicable) to confirm benefits before and after rollout. Governance & Compliance o Ensure adherence to IT governance, cybersecurity, privacy, and Responsible AI standards (e.g., data handling, model risk, access controls, auditability) and support required reviews/approvals before go-live. Requirements: Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT management / IT Business Partnering, business analysis, product operations, or technology delivery governance roles (individual contributor). Good working knowledge of IT infrastructure and security, application delivery, integration patterns, and data platforms; familiarity with ERP/SAP processes is an advantage. Hands-on exposure to GenAI/LLM tools and AI/automation platforms (e.g., Copilot Agents, Google Agentspace, OutSystems Workbench, Dataiku) is an added advantage. Strong understanding of AI/GenAI concepts and practical delivery considerations (use-case suitability, data quality, security/privacy, evaluation, and deployment). Certification is a plus but not mandatory. Strong stakeholder facilitation skills with ability to gather requirements, drive alignment, document outcomes, benefits tracking, etc. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience in digital transformation and benefits realisation (process redesign, automation, operating model, change management) preferred. Ability to lead cross-functional teams (business, data, security, engineering) and manage external vendors/partners to deliver outcomes. Familiarity with agile methodologies and ITIL framework.
