Commissioning Engineer (Power Generation Systems) - (1 Year Contract)

Location: West Region Monday to Friday: 8am to 5.10pm Basic + Completion Bonus A leading engineering solutions provider specialising in industrial and power generation equipment services. Responsibilities Perform installation inspections and commissioning activities at project sites. Coordinate with customers, project engineers, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution. Prepare, test, start up, and commission generators, pump sets, and marine propulsion engines for offshore, marine, and industrial applications. Provide technical support for mechanical and electrical workshop activities, including equipment testing and rental operations when required. Troubleshoot technical issues and perform system testing to ensure optimal equipment performance. Prepare commissioning reports and maintain accurate project documentation. Travel overseas when required to support commissioning and technical service assignments. Requirements Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in power generation systems within industrial, marine, electric power, or oil and gas industries. Experience working with industrial engines and power generation equipment is highly preferred. Familiar with generator control systems, synchronisation, and parallel operations. Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and technical documentation. Possess good IT proficiency, analytical thinking, and report writing skills. Class 3 Driving Licence is preferred.
