Ipanema World Music Bar is looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our fun and friendly team! You will be playing a key role from processing payment transactions and ensuring a great customer experience, all while thriving in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Greet, seat, and take orders for food and beverages, offering recommendations and answering questions with a smile. Deliver exceptional service throughout the customer's dining experience, checking in on them, refilling drinks, and addressing any requests promptly and courteously. Process customer payments accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system. Handle cash transactions, including receiving payments, returning change, and issuing receipts. Maintain a clean and organized cash drawer, ensuring accurate financial transactions. Work effectively under pressure to ensure both quick and friendly service in a fast-paced environment. What are we looking for: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash transactions Possess knowledge of the F&B industry with ability to recommend food pairings to enhance the customer's dining experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and colleagues professionally Strong organizational skills allowing you to prioritize tasks, work effectively in a fast-paced environment Required Academic Qualifications & Experience Minimum "O" Level with strong written, verbal, and comprehension skills in English. Prior experience in a cashier role is a plus, but extensive on-the job training will be provided. Work Environment: Primarily within our establishment, but occasional assistance may be required at sister locations.
