About this role

• Develop and implement business development strategies to support the supermarket's growth objectives. • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and potential customers to expand market presence. • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and business partners. • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and business opportunities. • Negotiate commercial terms and manage agreements with suppliers and business partners. • Monitor sales performance and recommend strategies to improve revenue and profitability. • Collaborate with internal teams to support product launches, promotional campaigns, and business initiatives. • Prepare business proposals, reports, and performance analyses for management. • Ensure business activities comply with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements. • Perform other business development and operational duties as assigned by management. Requirements • Relevant experience in business development, sales, account management, or commercial operations, preferably in the supermarket, retail, or FMCG industry. • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. • Ability to identify business opportunities and develop growth strategies. • Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Ability to conduct market research and interpret sales and market data. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Proficient in preparing business reports, proposals, and presentations. • Responsible, proactive, and results-oriented. • Willing to work on weekends and public holidays, when required. • Willing to work flexible hours based on operational and business needs. • No formal educational qualification required.
