Director, Building Structure

We are partnering with our client, a leading global engineering consultancy, to seek a seasoned leader to spearhead their high-rise and commercial building portfolio. Basic Salary: Up to $18,000 Benefits: $100 Mobile Allowance, Insurance, Dental, and Health-screening Job Responsibilities: Division & People Leadership Lead division operations, workforce planning, and resource utilisation Build a high-performance culture centred on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement Mentor engineers at all levels and contribute to succession planning and capability building Technical Authority Serve as the senior technical authority on complex and high-risk structural engineering matters Act as a Design Auditor / QAQC Auditor, ensuring ISO compliance and quality standards Provide independent technical review on critical project deliverables Project Delivery Undertake QP/PE and PD/PM roles on strategic projects where required Oversee portfolio delivery, risk management, and client alignment Drive consistent application of project management standards across the division Business Development Lead business development efforts to win and convert new opportunities Strengthen client relationships and contribute to bid strategy and technical proposals Financial Performance Own division-level P&L, budget control, and gross margin performance Track KPIs including win rate, project margin, DSO, and client satisfaction Requirements: Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Civil & Structural Engineering Registered Professional Engineer (Singapore PE Board) 15+ years of experience in structural engineering design consultancy Proven track record in QP/PE roles across complex building projects Strong leadership, client management, and business development skills Sound commercial acumen with experience managing P&L at division or team level Familiar with multidisciplinary project environments and regulatory requirements in the built environment sector.
