Preschool Pe Teacher

Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons and activities that align with early childhood development standards. Teach basic movement skills, coordination, balance, and teamwork in a fun and inclusive manner. Foster a positive, encouraging environment where children feel confident to participate in physical activities. Develop age-appropriate exercises and games that promote motor skills, flexibility, and fitness. Monitor students’ progress and provide individual support where necessary. Create a safe and welcoming environment for all students, ensuring proper supervision during physical activities. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate physical education into the overall curriculum and daily routine. Encourage positive behaviors, teamwork, and good sportsmanship during physical activities. Maintain communication with parents regarding their child’s progress, strengths, and areas for improvement. Ensure that all PE equipment is safe, clean, and properly maintained. Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities. Qualifications: Diploma in Physical Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Previous experience teaching preschool-aged children is a plus. Strong knowledge of child development and how it relates to physical education. Passionate about fostering children’s physical health and fitness. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Work Environment: Monday to Friday 830am to 530pm - Willing to travel between campuses
