About this role
We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven Chief Development Officer (CDO) to lead OGOG’s outlet expansion, site development, and regional growth strategy. This role will be responsible for identifying new growth opportunities, securing high-potential retail locations, overseeing new store development, and building a scalable expansion platform to support the company’s long-term growth across Singapore and Southeast Asia. Key Responsibilities Expansion Strategy & Market Development Develop and execute OGOG’s outlet expansion roadmap across Singapore and future regional markets. Identify and evaluate high-potential retail locations through demographic analysis, footfall studies, competitive benchmarking, and financial feasibility assessments. Build and maintain a long-term pipeline of strategic retail sites. Site Acquisition & Real Estate Development Source suitable retail locations including shopping malls, office developments, transport hubs, and mixed-use projects. Lead commercial lease negotiations with landlords, developers, and asset managers. Manage relationships with leasing agents, property consultants, and commercial real estate partners. Conduct commercial due diligence and location investment analysis for all prospective sites. New Store Development Oversee the end-to-end new outlet development process from site selection through store opening. Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, designers, contractors, and landlords to ensure timely project delivery. Monitor project timelines, development budgets, and store opening milestones. Drive continuous improvement of the outlet development process to support rapid expansion. Financial Planning & Investment Analysis Develop financial models for new outlet CAPEX, payback period, ROI, and long-term profitability. Evaluate investment opportunities and expansion scenarios to support strategic decision-making. Monitor development budgets and recommend initiatives to improve capital efficiency. Strategic Planning Develop scalable expansion frameworks capable of supporting multi-outlet and multi-country growth. Build strategic relationships with landlords, developers, and commercial partners to strengthen future expansion opportunities. Support executive management in long-term business planning and regional expansion initiatives. Provide strategic recommendations based on market intelligence, operational performance, and financial analysis. Requirements Bachelor’s degree and above in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Hospitality, Engineering, or a related discipline. Proven experience in retail expansion, site acquisition, commercial real estate, or multi-unit business development. Strong understanding of commercial leasing and retail property markets. Experience conducting financial feasibility studies and investment analysis. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth entrepreneurial environment. Experience in the F&B, retail, or real-estate industry will be an advantage.
