Finance Manager

About the Role We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the company's financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions, cash flow, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and supporting management with strategic financial insights. Key Responsibilities Financial Management Manage the full set of accounts (AR, AP, GL, Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliation). Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. Monitor company cash flow and working capital. Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial analysis. Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing. Accounting & Compliance Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS). Prepare GST submissions and corporate tax schedules. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks and government authorities. Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with IRAS, ACRA and statutory requirements. Business & Commercial Support Analyse profitability by product, customer and sales channel. Monitor inventory valuation and costing. Review pricing and gross margins. Support management with financial planning and business decisions. Develop financial reports and dashboards for management. Internal Controls Establish and improve financial policies and procedures. Monitor company expenses and budget utilisation. Review internal controls and identify financial risks. Ensure proper approval processes are followed. Treasury Manage banking facilities and relationships. Monitor receivables and collections. Manage supplier payments. Forecast cash requirements. Team Management Lead and mentor the finance team. Coordinate with operations, sales, procurement and logistics departments. Support ERP/accounting system improvements.
