Inspired by the harsh terrains of Australia, we strive to bring you the best produce and offer everyone a taste of warm Australian hospitality.💓 On top of the Australian cafe and restaurant concept, we also have Spanish, Taiwanese and Japanese restaurant concepts. Responsibilities Handle a specific pastry section Execute recipes set by Pastry Chef Prepare mise en place daily Ensure consistent quality & presentation Supervise Commis / junior baker s Maintain hygiene and workstation standards Monitor stock and reduce wastage Requirements and skills 3 years of experience as a CDP/Sous Chef Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures Excellent record of kitchen and staff management Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions Familiar with industry’s best practices Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS) BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate would be a plus
