Site Engineer

Job Summary Lead site engineering activities by inspecting facilities, analyzing data, and managing projects to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency. Drive process improvements and incorporate sustainable design features while collaborating with stakeholders to meet business objectives. Responsibilities Inspect facilities and analyze operational data to assess performance and compliance Maintain adherence to safety and regulatory standards throughout project execution Compile detailed estimates for technical and material requirements to support project development Determine and present operating cost estimates to inform budgeting and planning Evaluate operations and processes to identify opportunities for performance and efficiency improvements Suggest and implement design and process changes to enhance project outcomes Test material and structural integrity to ensure safety and durability Research environmental impacts of projects and integrate eco-friendly, sustainable features into design plans Create clear graphical representations of proposed engineering solutions for stakeholder communication Compile and present comprehensive, nontechnical project reports to diverse stakeholders Monitor project progress, compliance, and safety standards to ensure timely and safe completion Direct engineering activities by assigning tasks, providing training, and supporting team members Develop and adjust work schedules to meet project deadlines effectively Maintain accurate project documentation of site engineering activities for accountability and reference Collaborate with management to align engineering activities with overall business objectives Required competencies and certifications Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, construction, building, or related field State-issued certification or engineering license Preferred competencies and qualifications Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software Familiarity with scientific analysis software and graphics and map creation software Proven record of managing personnel and material resources Strong critical thinking, analytical, and complex problem-solving skills Dedication to learning new concepts and strategies
