About this role

We are looking for a dedicated finance professional to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial accounting, reporting, analysis, compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a multi-entity business environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting & Daily Operations Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely recording of financial transactions. Support cash flow monitoring and treasury functions. Record supplier invoices, customer receipts, payments, and journal entries. Review bank reconciliations and investigate unreconciled items. Month-End Closing & Financial Reporting Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. Prepare journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and adjustments. Review financial statements for completeness and accuracy. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances. Management Reporting & Analysis Prepare monthly management reports and financial analysis. Perform variance analysis and support budgeting and forecasting exercises. Support Management with financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis. Inventory Accounting & Group Reporting Perform inventory reconciliations and gross profit analysis. Prepare inventory-related accounting entries. Assist in group reporting, consolidation, and intercompany reconciliations. Compliance, Audit & Tax Prepare GST returns and supporting schedules. Support statutory audits and coordinate with auditors and tax agents. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Continuous Improvement Review and improve finance processes and internal controls. Support ERP and system enhancement initiatives. Participate in finance projects and undertake other duties assigned by Management. Requirements Qualifications Minimum Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CA, ISCA, or equivalent) is preferred. Experience Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and/or auditing experience. Strong knowledge of full set accounting, financial reporting, and month-end closing. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. Experience in ERP systems, process improvement, or system implementation is preferred. Experience in a multi-entity, retail, trading, or group reporting environment is preferred.
