About the role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join Takasago International (Singapore) Pte Ltd in the West Region on a full-time basis . As Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily production operations, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining quality standards and supporting the achievement of production targets. This position is essential to our manufacturing operations and reports directly to the Senior Production Manager, serving as a key link between senior management and production floor teams. Key responsibilities Oversee daily production operations and ensure all activities are carried out according to established schedules and procedures Monitor and optimise production efficiency, identifying opportunities to reduce waste and improve throughput Ensure compliance with quality standards and conduct regular inspections to maintain product excellence Supervise, train and mentor production team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety Coordinate with the planning and scheduling department to ensure accurate production forecasting and timely delivery of outputs Manage inventory levels and material handling to minimise disruptions to production flow Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions Maintain accurate production records, reports and documentation in compliance with company standards Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including maintenance, quality assurance and logistics Ensure workplace safety protocols are followed and promote a safe working environment What we're looking for 3+ years of experience in a production supervision or similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling and process optimisation techniques Excellent understanding of quality control standards and manufacturing best practices Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels Diploma or equivalent qualification in Production Management, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline Familiarity with ISO standards and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is preferred Knowledge of the fragrance, flavour or specialty chemicals industry would be advantageous
