Sales Manager

Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share within the maritime and shipping sector Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, and freight forwarders Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term client accounts Negotiate contracts, freight rates, and service agreements with clients and partners Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and freight rate movements to inform pricing strategy Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management review Coordinate with operations and chartering teams to ensure smooth execution of client contracts Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to strengthen brand presence Mentor and guide junior sales executives to achieve individual and team targets Resolve client issues and escalations promptly to maintain high service standards Requirements Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field At least 5 years of relevant experience in sales or business development within the maritime, shipping, or logistics industry Strong knowledge of shipping operations, chartering, and freight markets, with proficiency in CRM and sales reporting tools Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills Ability to work independently, manage multiple client accounts, and thrive in a fast-paced environment Clarence Khoh R1552376
