Plating Engineer

Job Scope : Oversee production scheduling Evaluate and establish process parameters Identify and eliminate sources of failure and to perfect functionality of products Define process problems that lead to throughput or quality issues, evaluate cause of problem, implement solutions to stabilize processes, increase production output, reduce production cycle and enhance cost improvement Investigate and implement solutions on process or material related problems Develop and maintain proper job methods, work instructions, drawings, bill of material etc. for products Execute productivity programmes such as process automation, tooling and fixture fabrication or improvement etc. Conduct training on equipment operation and maintenance Ensure manufacturing objectives are met and initiate continuous improvement activities on product quality, yields and technologies Requirements: Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent 3 years relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment Experience in electroplating sector and exposure to Silver Spot plating will be an added advantage. Knowledge of statistical methods, IATF16949 and ISO 14001 practices is an advantage Able to work independently as well as in a team Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
