IT Security Officer

Job Responsibilities Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and security controls. Conduct security risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures. Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents. Support vulnerability management and security monitoring activities. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to strengthen the organisation's cybersecurity posture. Support security audits, awareness programmes, and cybersecurity initiatives. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. At least 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT infrastructure security. Experience in security governance, risk management, security operations, incident response, or vulnerability management. Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, security monitoring, IAM, and cloud security concepts. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Certifications CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, GCIH, GSEC, or CompTIA Security+.
