Oracle Database Administrator

Responsibilities Administer, maintain, and support Oracle 19c Multitenant databases. Manage Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and Disaster Recovery environments. Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning. Implement backup, recovery, and failover solutions using RMAN and Data Guard. Support Oracle GoldenGate, Advanced Security, Database Vault, Audit Vault, and Flashback. Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues across storage, OS, ASM, and networking. Develop automation scripts using UNIX/Linux shell scripting and Ansible. Support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Microsoft Azure, and other databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, MS SQL). Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and security standards. Requirements Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 6 years of Oracle Database Administration experience. Strong hands-on experience with Oracle 19c, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and GoldenGate. Experience with UNIX/Linux administration and scripting. Knowledge of OCI, Azure, Ansible, GitLab, and Oracle security features. Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Microsoft SQL Server. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
